Q: How does UO save me money?
A: We negotiate crew discounts at the places YOU RECOMMEND. Simply present your UO Membership card at a participating business and enjoy a local experience at a more reasonable price!
Q: Do I need to present the Membership Card to qualify for member benefits or is my airline ID good enough?
A: YES, you must present the UO Membership Card. It's part of the deal with the business that you will be required to show the card. This safeguards the exclusivity of the program and you!
Q: Where do I find out about crew discount locations?
A: In the search box at the upper left of the screen, search your layover's airport code or city name, click the area you are discovering then check the map. If you see a green pin, you see a crew discount.
Red pins = crew hotels
Blue Pins = preferred layover spots that are NOT offering a crew discount
Q: Does the discount extend to family, friends AND fellow crewmembers?
A: Each business SHOULD be extending the crew discount to everyone accompanying the crewmember. If you find this to not be the case, email us IMMEDIATELY!
Q: What is a Nomination Card and how does it work?
A: You will receive one Nomination Card with your Welcome Letter:
- Make sure your UO username is on the card
- Put it in your wallet or purse
- Hand it to a waitress, manager, or owner and say, “Thanks for a great time!”
- If you need more nomination cards or if you want to GET PAID for nominating local layover hotspots Contact Us!
And that’s it! The Nomination Card tells the business how to contact us and we'll go to work negotiating a crew discount for you! Hopefully by your next visit, your membership card (also provided in your welcome letter) will get you, your family, and/or your crew a discount because of YOUR nomination.
Q: Can I be a member if I was a pilot or flight attendant?
A: Absolutely!
Q: Why are you not including the general public in your service?
A: There are two reasons we exclude membership to the general public. We want to assure the information you are provided is of the highest quality and to protect the exclusivity of the program. If everyone had a membership card and wanted discounts the program would fail and everyone would lose!
